The invention of the laser, who invented laser?

Nowadays, the laser is used in many areas, from health to technology, from military to entertainment to life. The first working optical laser was made by Theodore Maiman in 1960, but the history of Laser's discovery started with Albert Einstein at the beginning of the 1900 years.

The laser is an abbreviation used for English (Light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation). Basically, the laser is based on light photons formed by electron transitions between atomic or molecular energy levels. It is a device that produces light through evoked emissions. In 1917, Albert Einstein suggested a backward-stimulated emission theory.

Maser concept

In 1958, Charles Townes and Arthur Schawlow maser (short for microwave amplification by stimulated emission of radiation) I developed. Maser maintains a very important place in the development of laser. Maser was used for strengthening radio signals in space exploration.

First Laser

Two years after Maser's discovery, Theodore Maiman created the first laser in 1960. However, Gordon Gould was the first person to use the word laser in 1957.

In 1957 it was invented by Gordon Gould for the optical laser, but it was not a very successful project to obtain patents. Gordon Gould received a patent for the laser he invented in 1977. Therefore, the laser demonstration of Theodore Maiman is regarded as the first successful laser.

In 1960 he invented Ali Javan gas laser. This is the first use of electrical energy change in the laser history. In 1962 he followed the discovery of the semiconductor laser by Robert Hall. Two years later, the invention of Kumar Patel, carbon dioxide laser, and Hal Walker telemetry has arrived.

Eye treatment with Laser

Dr. Steven Trokel invented an excimer laser device in the 1970s. However, the development of this device with the use of eye treatments with the computer was directed by Dr. Steven Trokel's team in 1982. In 1987, the first laser eye surgery was performed. Since then, laser eye treatment has become an ordinary treatment.

Laser towers and applications

Since the 1960s, the laser has evolved with continuous improvement studies, inventions, and applications. The use of laser starting with eye treatment is now prevalent in other sectors as well. It is used in all practical electronic devices. It is used in many applications and scientific research in medical facilities.

Lasers are also used to make light shows in concerts or clubs. Laser printing became quite common. spectroscopy, electro-optic measures, and microdissection also use laser technology. In dentistry, surgical interventions, welding, and missile defense systems benefit from this technology.

Since the invention of the laser device, scientists have wondered where it can be used and has done a lot of research. Made with this research, development, and inventions, the laser has become an invaluable part of modern society.
