Hvordan fungerer Oled-skjermer?

OLED er navnet på en struktur laget av en rekke organiske tynnfilm lag og 2 halvledere. Når elektrisk strøm passerer gjennom denne strukturen, produserer den en strålende glød. Denne funksjonen er forskjellig fra de vi vet om LCD-skjermene. Fordi LCD-skjermer brukes i dag kreve en hvit bakgrunn lys vises. Takket være denne funksjonen av OLED-skjermer hentes veldig fine og kvalitet bilder.

 

Fordelene med OLED-skjermer er som følger:

– Spennende skjermer: enestående, svært tynn, fleksibel eller gjennomsiktig skjermer

-Lavt energiforbruk: lavt energiforbruk, spesielt i behovet for bærbare enheter.

-Bedre skarphet: bedre skarphet og utmerket bildekvalitet på alle måter.

-Lett: Svært tynn, fleksibel struktur

 

I dag OLED-skjermer brukes i små størrelser på mobiltelefoner, bærbare musikk-og videospillere, musikksystemer på kjøretøy, digitale kameraer og PDA-enheter. Det er foretrukket p.g.a. lav energi type og høy lysstyrke. I desember 2007 forventes Sonyå selge OLED-TV i 11-tommers størrelse (ca. 27 cm). I tillegg produseres av flere bedrifter med 42-tommers OLED-skjerm som en prototype. Men er det ikke for tiden utgitt på grunn av sin høye kostnader. Som et resultat av studier gjennomført i dette feltet i de kommende år, blir prisene på denne teknologien til fornuftige nivåer.

 

OLED-skjermer er også tilgjengelig som lyskilder samt bilder. I årene fremover erstatter pærene som vi bruker i dag forsiden.

 

OLED-teknologien begynte å gi første signalene som dagliglivet ville være et stort område av bruk. For eksempel vil du kunne justere og bruke en kjole laget av OLED til den ønskede fargen.
